Customer Journey
Artwork visitors, workshop visitors and people wanting to enquire were not given clear enough routes. The next useful action became less obvious once somebody moved beyond the opening section.
Client Result
Jennie Picton's website investment was recovered in under two days after launch, alongside a measurable improvement in how people used the site.

Before The Rebuild
Jennie's existing site already showed her artwork, workshops and projects. The audit did not recommend throwing that away. The problem was how the content was structured, prioritised and turned into clear next steps.

The Audit
The recommendation was a proper rebuild of the existing site, not because the content was bad, but because patching individual sections would leave the underlying visitor journey unresolved.
Artwork visitors, workshop visitors and people wanting to enquire were not given clear enough routes. The next useful action became less obvious once somebody moved beyond the opening section.
One of the strongest opportunities on the site was harder to digest than it needed to be. Hierarchy, typography, imagery and calls to action needed to make the offer, audience and next step clearer.
Jennie's work needed more visual weight. Images sometimes competed with oversized buttons and headings, while parts of the project experience still showed template or placeholder material.
An oversized header, inconsistent typography and buttons, accessibility concerns, missing footer structure and outdated template information collectively made the site feel less polished.
Recommendation
The goal was not simply to make the website look nicer. It was to make workshops easier to discover, give artwork more room to sell itself, create clearer enquiry routes and make the website more useful to Jennie instead of something she had to work around.
The Result
The clearest result was commercial: four workshops with 24 total spaces filled within two days of launch.
What Changed
The work focused on a clearer website and a stronger visitor journey rather than treating visual polish as the result by itself.
Make it easier for visitors to understand the site and find the information that matters.
Reduce friction between interest and the next useful action.
Use real engagement and commercial outcomes to judge what happened after launch.
From Jennie
“My new website is clearer, easier to use and has already made a noticeable difference to my bookings.”
